The DEWALT DXIG42SEU petrol inverter generator delivers 4.2 kW peak and 3.8 kW rated power. Inverter technology provides stable power with a pure sine wave, suitable for sensitive electronics including laptops, routers, TVs, gas boiler controllers and other equipment. The compact design and weight of just 31.6 kg make moving and transporting the generator straightforward. It is significantly lighter than most alternatives in its power class, so one person can easily load, move or transport it without assistance. When more power is needed, the model supports parallel connection of two compatible generators, substantially increasing total output without replacing equipment.

For additional safety, the generator is equipped with the CO Alert system, which automatically stops the engine if carbon monoxide (CO) concentration rises. This improves safety during backup power supply and outdoor use. As with any petrol generator, the unit must only be operated outdoors, away from windows, doors and ventilation openings.

Starting and stopping the generator is handled by a single Start/Stop button, ensuring quick and convenient control. The recoil starter serves as a reliable backup start method if the battery is discharged. ECONOMY MODE automatically reduces engine speed under light load, delivering lower fuel consumption, quieter operation and instant return to full power when required. The multi-function LED display shows key operating parameters, making it easy to monitor the generator’s status during use. The control panel also features two Schuko 230 V / 16 A outlets, USB-A fast-charging ports (QC 3.0) and USB-C for direct connection of mobile devices, as well as a parallel connection socket.

A sound-insulated housing, anti-vibration mounts and IP23M protection class ensure comfortable operation in any conditions. . The guaranteed sound power level is Lwa 97 dB in accordance with Directive 2000/14/EC — this is the official regulated figure that the manufacturer publishes in place of unverified marketing values. The generator also meets the requirements of EURO 5, CE, EMC, RoHS and REACH standards.
